Jill Duggar breaks another major family rule with big decision about newborn son Freddy's birth | The Sun

JILL Duggar has broken another major family rule with a big decision about her newborn son's birth.

The Counting On alum, 31, said she had a planned C-section "a little early" and welcomed her son, Frederick, on July 7.

Jill and Derick decided to have the baby via c-section, instead of at home, which is one of the stringent rules set in the Duggar household.

Her previous births to their two sons: Israel, six, and Samuel, four were also done in a hospital, after the former reality star suffered complications.

One fan on a social media thread posted: " I don’t think Jill got the grows-babies-easily gene. The emergency c-section with Samuel is literally part of the reason why things went back with JB&M…"

That fan also added, "They needed money to pay the hospital, and JB wouldn’t help, and that’s when they found out about how JB had been keeping all the TLC money for himself."

RULE BREAKER

The TV personality has deviated from her parents Jim Bob, 55, and  Michelle, 54. and their strict conservative rules.

The show's patriarch and matriarch have mostly stuck to these strict rules for their Christian lifestyle.

The Duggar family has observed a strict dress code that usually only permits women to dress modestly and wear skirts or dresses.

One of these inflexible rules included not allowing women to show their legs or dress in a revealing manner.

During her pregnancy, the 30-year-old shocked fans when she defied her father's modesty rules by showing off her baby belly with her pants unzipped in a racy selfie.

Jill was sharing how she fit into her "maternity jeans" in the Instagram photo.

The reality star said she couldn't pull off "the buttonhole/rubber-band and belly-band trick," as it was not "cutting it anymore."

In the mirror selfie, Jill pointed her finger at her unzipped jeans, which were being held up by a thin blue string.

The Duggar children have also been homeschooled and grew up with strict access to entertainment and television.

But in 2020, Jill made the decision to not keep Israel at home and instead send him off to kindergarten.

JILL'S JOURNEY

The Duggars are fundamentalist Christians who believe in extreme modesty, and are not supportive of certain modern practices such as hospital births.

Most of the women of the family have opted for home birth, unless a medical complication has dictated otherwise.

Jill also has been open and honest about using birth control, which is also forbidden according to the Duggar Family rules.

The former reality star has been estranged from Jim Bob and Michelle since Derick was fired from Counting On.

Jill also revealed she "had enough" of her strict parents when they tried to "control where she lived and what jobs she accepted."

People reported Jim Bob was in charge of the money made from Counting On, as they received $25,000 to $45,000 per episode.
