Karen Taylor accused of shock crime in EastEnders | The Sun

THROWN back from the limelight as drama continues to unfold, Karen Taylor makes a huge mistake next week.

Unfortunately for the beloved EastEnders character, this leads her to be accused of a shocking crime.

The cleaner played by Lorraine Stanley does all she can to make ends meet in Albert Square with some help from her adult children.

Aside from providing for her large family, she also tries to keep a launderette business afloat.

But she worries when Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has to reduce her hours at the launderette next week on BBC One.

Meanwhile, Karen's daughter Bernie (Clair Norris) is just as concerned about her longevity at the local café.

With pressing matters on her mind, Karen later heads to the Minute Mart to fill up a shopping basket.

She's soon distracted by a phone and accidentally walks out of the shop without paying for her purchases.

Cold-hearted Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) catches her in the act and furiously accuses Karen of stealing.

A blazing row ensues between both women as Karen protests, prompting Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) to get involved.

The pair quickly grow angrier and vow to never shop in the Minute Mart again after the harsh treatment they received.

In later scenes, Suki's husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) convinces her to apologise to Karen in a bid to protect their image in front of fellow Walford residents.

While Suki has been determined to get her dues, Nish has had other ambitions for his family.

Recent scenes have shown the villainous character going head to head with Albert Square tough man Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) as he tries to grow the Panesar empire.

Suki and Nish's family have gone through a series of harrowing months.

This was particularly due to Suki almost being sexually assaulted by corrupt businessman Ranveer Gulati.

Ranveer was killed by his son Ravi, who rushed to Suki's rescue but still allowed her to believe she was responsible for the death.

The police eventually launched an investigation after Ranveer's body was found and Suki faced some intense questioning.

When her son Kheerat found out the truth, he took the fall for Suki and was cuffed in late 2022… while declaring his love for Stacey Slater.

Although Nish takes care of his own, appearances can be deceiving.

Prior to his release from prison, where he was sent for two decades for murder, Nish was said to be controlling and abusive by none other than his wife Suki.

This was proven correct as he scammed his other half out of her own business ventures.

The businesswoman also sacrificed a potential romance with Eve Unwin to stick by Nish's side.
