Kate Lawler stunned in a skimpy green bikini on This Morning.

The TV and radio personality took to Thursday's edition (15 June) of the flagship ITV magazine show, where she was challenged to soak up the sun at one of the nations favourite water parks.

She travelled down to Dorset to make an appearance at the Splashdown park where she took on the scary 'Infinity' water ride whilst wearing a plunging green two-piece.

Although Kate, 43, was afraid of the wild ride, she stunned as she appeared live on television in a plunging green bikini as she enjoyed the hottest day of the year.

She showed off her washboard abs as she at first appeared on the rapids where she exclaimed: "It is the hottest week of the year so far in the UK. So i've come to Splashdown Waterpark to have some fun in the sun.

"This place it's brilliant, you can swim, you can sunbathe, you can go on the rides.

"I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to rides so later on, join me as we test my bravery to see just how how well I do on the scariest slide in the park!"

Later on in the show after a grand buildup, the former Big Brother winner cut a slender figure as she appeared at the top of the scary ride.

She declared: "I'm not gonna lie. I'm very nervous. I feel afraid. I feel alone. I'm terrified for my life because, right now, my nerves are going to be tested as I take on the scariest slide at splashdown – Infinity.

"I was having fun in the sun. No joke. I'm a wimp when it comes to rides, and this one, I'm scared but you know what's gonna make me feel better music."

The mission impossible theme tune then started to play in the background as the media personality attempted to take on the challenge.

Later she manoeuvred herself to the music selection machine to try and calm her nerves as visitors could choose the genre of music that plays whilst they are on the ride.

She explained: "The picture with music on this, rock, pop, golden hour or potluck. Give me potluck. And the best thing is, is that you are coming on this ride with me. Are you ready? This is a water-free phone case!"

She then counted down from three before she then filmed herself screaming as she slid down the ride as Holly Willoughby, 42, and Dermot O'Leary, 50, watched on from the studio.

As Kate looked relieved once her experience was finished as she declared: "That was terrifying!", but Holly couldn't help but laugh at her expense as producers replayed the segment and Kate's hilarious reaction.

She joked: "Look at that it was completely picked up! At one point, I didn't know if we were going to see anything, but that is the shot there, as you come back into the light!"

Dermot then egged her on as he joked: "Bless Her, Kate you didn't do it justice, go doing it again!"
