Kylie Jenner reflects on having 'baby blues' after giving birth to second child

Kylie Jenner has reflected on having the ‘baby blues’ after giving birth to her second child.

The make-up mogul welcomed baby number two with Travis Scott at the beginning of this year, but has yet to confirm their son’s name after changing it from Wolf.

Following his arrival, the 25-year-old spoke candidly about struggling with postpartum, revealing that she had found her experience ‘very hard’.

In the new episode of the Kardashians, on Hulu, she could be seen discussing the tough period with her older sister, Kendall Jenner.

‘Kylie had her baby a few weeks ago so I’m just stopping into her office to say hi, check in on her,’ the supermodel said in a confessional. ‘It is pretty wild that she’s a mom-of-two, also pretty amazing.’

When asked how she has been doing with her newborn, Kylie said: ‘It’s been really hard for me.

‘I cried non-stop all day for the first three weeks. It’s just the baby blues and then it goes away. I had it with Stormi too.

‘I cried for three weeks. Every day, to the point where I’d be lying in bed and my head would just hurt so bad.’

The mom-of-two then vowed that she is starting to feel better in herself.

‘I feel better mentally,’ she told her sibling. ‘I’m not crying every day, so that’s great. I don’t have bad days with my body. I have bad days mentally.

‘I feel really good about my body. I see my body and I love my body. I’m embracing my PP body – postpartum.’

Speaking to the camera, Kylie added: ‘I’m not a doctor but I read on Google… They call it baby blues when it doesn’t last past six weeks.

‘After about six weeks, I started to feel better, but I definitely had a case of the blues.’

The lip kit queen started dating rapper Travis, real name Jacques Webster, in 2017, and welcomed their daughter Stormi the following year.

She gave birth to their son on February 2, the day after Stormi’s fourth birthday.

Shortly after welcoming the little one, Kylie spoke about how it felt to expand her family, and explained that she had found it tough to begin with.

‘I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy,’ she began. ‘It’s not been easy. It’s very hard. This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter.

‘It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually. It’s just crazy. I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that.

‘I think we can look on the internet and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me. It’s been hard.’

Kylie added: ‘Once I realized that I was putting some pressure on myself, I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human, beautiful healthy boy.

‘We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back – not even physically, just mentally – after birth.’

The Kardashians airs on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
