Loose Women star Charlene White has broken her silence about the row between This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

I'm A Celeb star Charlene has publicly sent her support to them both as the ITV daytime show was plunged into behind-the-scenes crisis talks.


Speaking on the red carpet at the BAFTA TV awards this afternoon (May 14), Charlene told The Sun: “I absolutely adore the both of them. I love seeing them. I love having hugs with them. I love bantering with them. I think they’re both absolutely brilliant.”

Charlene looked stunning on the red carpet at London's Royal Festival Hall ahead of tonight's ceremony.

She sported a white floor-length gown with a dramatic shoulder detail.

The ITN newsreader wore her hair pulled back with a gold headband.

Charlene's comments come as ITV insiders confirmed Holly and Phil will both front Monday's show, despite ITV previously refusing to confirm whether tomorrow's episode would go ahead as normal.

A show insider told The Sun Phil would be back on screen alongside Holly.

The Sun first revealed news of their fallout last week, with insiders confirming the pair had started to grow apart.

Phil then issued a statement to The Sun calling Holly his “best friend” a move which left her blindsided.

Today The Sun revealed the pair had turned their back on peace talks and were determined to move forward.

In an orchestrated move, ITV and representatives for each of the This Morning presenters categorically denied mediation ­sessions would be held.

A show source told The Sun on Sunday it would now be “too late” for outside help.
