ITV's Lorraine took an unexpected turn on Monday (July 4) as shamed ex MP Neil Parish discussed watching porn in the House of Commons.

The 66 year old who previously served as a Conservative Member of the European Parliament came on the morning show to discuss the reason why he stepped down from his role after he was caught watching pornography on his phone.

Speaking openly to presenter Lorraine Kelly, Neil gave details of what happened as well as his family reaction to the unusual events.

Sharing further insight, Neil even told Lorraine that his wife chased him with a pair of scissors after the porn scandal came to light.

Seeing the ex MP on the show, fans headed straight to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: "Car crash TV. Guy who watched porn in Parliament. App Wife knows what he's like … She runs around the kitchen with scissors shouting snicker snack! Oh dear lord."

Another said: "Tractor porn MP Neil Parish truly has no shame. Claims he went 'cleanly' and he 'loves Boris to bits.' It was all 'a weakness of character'. Says he will be missed in Parliament and isn't ruling out a return to public life."

A third shared: "Sorry what? Neil Parish on @GMB describing his wife chasing him round the kitchen with scissors to cut off his **** Lorraine moved swiftly on. Did I imagine this?"

While a fourth added: "Wife chasing his Peepee around the house with a pair of scissors? Coz she knows what he's like?? Whats he like??? This is old dirty man..& maybe wife."
