Love Island bombshell Zara ‘already knows’ Olivia as social media link exposed

Love Island’s latest bombshell Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown appears to already know her new co-star Olivia Hawkins.

Zara, 25, will be heading into the villa during Wednesday's episode (January 18) along with a second bombshell David Salako.

But it appears that model and property developer Zara has a history with one of the show’s current Islanders.

The hit ITV2 dating show shocked viewers on Tuesday night when the episode ended with the reveal that two new bombshells would be entering the villa – just days into the new series.

Zara and money adviser David were unveiled as the latest bombshells to stir things up ahead of the next recoupling later this week.

On Zara’s Instagram account, which has more than 21,000 followers, the stunner posts an array of sizzling selfies.

And it appears that Zara is followed by fellow Islander Olivia, who is currently coupled up with Tom Clare on the dating show.

Olivia was one of the OG sexy singletons that made their way into the villa during the show’s first episode on Monday (January 16).

The actress was originally coupled up with TikToker and farmer Will Young, before Tom stole her at the end of Tuesday night’s episode.

Zara also follows Olivia back on Instagram, so the two could have known each other prior to their Love Island stint.

Show execs are hoping the latest bombshells will spice up the romance safari series.

Zara, who has starred in musicals, is warning she’ll keep her rivals in check.

She said: “I’m not going to go in there and let the girls take over.”

And David, 24, said: “I’m very picky. I’ve got my standards.”

What’s more, it seems the show’s loyal legion of fans have worked out why bombshells have been put in the villa already.

“More bombshells! The producers must be fighting to bring back the viewers if they’re having to introduce more people already,” one viewer claimed.

Another added: “This episode was dry, but I just have to remind myself the beginning always is. Hope the bombshells spice it up.”

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
