Love Island fans cringe at tonguing game as Ron and Tanyels snog raises eyebrows

Fans of Love Island were left cringing at tonight's episode as the Islanders locked lips during a kissing game – where there were plenty of tongues involved as Ron Hall and Tanyel Revan's kiss, in particular, raised eyebrows.

During the game, the boys were made to stand in a line blindfolded, as the girls took it in turns to kiss each guy, who then gave them a score out of 10 for their skills.

Things got raunchy as the Islanders locked lips, with the extended kiss between Ron and Tanyel leaving some of the girls turning and looking away.

Fans of the show were quick to comment on the game, as one tweeted: "Pretty sure Tanyel’s kiss with Ron went on for about 10 minutes #loveisland."

Another wrote: "Tanyel's kiss with Ron was a bit much #loveisland" before a third added: "Can Tanyel stop lying please that kiss was too passionate and long for a bestie #LoveIsland."

The kiss between 'friends' Tanyel and Ron certainly made for conversation between the girls, as Olivia Hawkins told Lana Jenkins it had made her feel uncomfortable, before Tanyel pulled Lana for a chat to insist there was nothing more to it.

That wasn't the only drama to come out of the game, as Shaq Muhammad was left fuming after his partner Tanya Manhenga did not hold back when it came to kissing the other guys in the villa, which earned her the top spot on the score board.

He was raging to the boys as he declared that he "wouldn't speak" to Tanya, as he said that she had "disrespected" him with her actions.

Tanya, in turn, told the girls that Shaq's actions were giving her the "ick" as she asked the girls if she was overreacting at him being mad.

One fan of the show tweeted: "Lmao Tanya won the kissing challenge on love island and Shaq was angry," while a second said: "Wow Shaq showing major red flags this early on run for the hills Tanya #LoveIsland."

Another wrote: "I get shaq's point but it wasn't that serious for him to get that mad, not until he's asked Tanya to be his gf #loveisland."

On Wednesday night's episode, the pair took their relationship to the next level as they both said "I love you" to one another, despite only having met in the South African villa two weeks prior.

Meanwhile, Australian Islander Jessie Wynter came bottom of the scoreboard for her kissing skills.

Some fans speculated that she might have been holding back out of respect for Will, as one tweeted: "In the kissing challenge be a Jessie not a Tanya."

Someone else said: "Jessie deffo the only sensible girl in that villa #loveisland."
