Love Island fans left distracted over boys’ outfits during dramatic villa twist
Following each nightly instalment, hundreds of Love Island fans flock to Twitter to have their say on the bombshells' often enviable outfit choices.
But tonight's episode – which saw breath-takingly beautiful host Maya Jama tear two couples apart with a brutal compatibility recoupling – saw viewers' not only discussing the stars' savage antics, but their sophisticated selection of attire.
Viewers were left distracted on Tuesday night as they noticed that all the gents in the Spanish villa were dressed in button-down shirts as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Also getting in on the joke was Tyrique Hyde himself, who – prior to joining presenter Maya around the firepit – joked: "Everyone’s in a shirt, everyone’s on a serious ting".
Sharing a video of mouth-covering laughter, one fan wrote, "not all the boys being in shirts", whilst another said: "“Everyone’s in a shirt, everyone’s on a serious ting” loool everything Tyrique says is pure comedy #LoveIsland."
A different account put: "Why everyone in a shirt LMFAO #LoveIsland."
"No but, why are all the guys wearing shirts?" a different fan pointed out.
During the dramatic episode, the Islanders were asked to vote between them which of their co-star couples were the least compatible in a savage twist.
After an awkward reveal, Jess Harding and Sammy Root, and Mitchel Taylor and Leah Taylor were voted the least compatible and forced to stand in front of the fire pit.
As the couples panicked over their future on the island, presenter Maya announced that they would all be single and banned from recoupling with each other at the next recoupling.
And what's more, the four islanders would immediately be heading out for dates with two newcomers – Mal Nicol and Montel McKenzie.
Edinburgh-born Mal, 25, is a gorgeous Scottish newcomer excited to get to know Sammy and Zachariah Noble as her priority.
Meanwhile, East London account manager Montel, 25, who is also a semi-professional footballer, is looking forward to going on Love Island because he's always "so busy with work and football".
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
