Love Island fans were quick to point out that they had already predicted drama for Ella Thomas thanks to the villa's yellow bean bag theory.
Viewers will recall that Tyrique Hyde, 24, has finally closed himself off to on-off partner Ella, 23, in the villa after a tumultuous journey so far.
However, it looks as though there could be trouble in paradise for the couple as new bombshell Ella Barnes, 23, from Kent, made an arrival on Thursday and she already knows Tyrique.
Speaking in a pre-show interview, she said: "I have a feeling I could make a few boys’ heads turn, especially Tyrique because we have history."
During Thursday's episode, upon Ella walking into the villa, Tyrique let partner Ella know immediately that he knew the new bombshell.
The two then had an awkward greeting with new Ella telling Tyrique: "Nice to see your face", joking it was "battle of the Ellas" as she fancies him and last time they saw each other they were kissing.
And in a first look teaser for Friday, it sees an explosive row between the two Ellas.
In the fiery teaser it sees Tyrique's current partner, Ella, say: "Why is my name even in your mouth when you're talking about me still."
To which new Ella replies: "I knew him before you and we can literally have a chat…"
In response, Ella T says: "You don't need to talk about battles, there's not going to be a battle, I would never go head-to-head with a girl for a man."
However, viewers had already predicted all the drama for Ella T as earlier in the episode she had sat on a yellow bean bag.
Last year, the 2022 summer contestants revealed that they had been avoiding a particular seat in the villa as they all think that the yellow beanbag is "cursed" and brings bad luck.
Explaining the theory in the Beach Hut, Tasha Ghouri said at the time: "That yellow bean bag, there is a very proven fact that it does bring drama every time someone sits on it… it happens.
"So obviously if you want to go sit on it, I wish you well, but you've basically brought it on yourself because the drama happens. So… it's obviously a proven fact."
And eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot that Ella T had sat on the yellow bean bag in the villa on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Ella thomas sitting again on the yellow bean bag. Dramaaaaa #Loveisland."
A different account put: "Ella is on the yellow bean bag. Ffs it’s all going down now #loveIsland. "
Another follower wrote: "Ella sitting on the yellow bean bag. She doesn't know what's coming her way #LoveIsland."
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
