Love Island fans shocked as Zach makes ‘savage’ dig at Scott amid Abi romance

Love Island fans were taken aback when Zachariah Noble made a cutting remark about Scott van der Sluis and Abi Moores during the highly anticipated parents' episode on Sunday, 23 July.

The incident occurred when Scott met Abi's parents, despite their relationship being called “fake” by other islanders.

In the kitchen, Zach couldn't resist mocking Scott's words about potentially ending things with Abi.

Mimicking Scott, Zach quipped: 'I want to end things,' airing Scott's private business for everyone to hear.

On Twitter fans were shocked by the savage comment, with one writing: “OMG did you hear what Zach said?”

A second wrote: “Zach is airing put Scott's business when he complains about Mitch doing the same thing”.

A third added: “Zach over there gloating at Scott's potential downfall is irritating. That guy”.

A fourth commented: “Why's Zach telling Scott's business to the whole villa”.

In a surprising twist, the beloved 'meet the parents' episode, typically reserved for the penultimate show, happened earlier than expected.

Each Islander's family flew over to the sun-soaked paradise to get to know their son or daughter's potential partner and deliver their verdict.

During his conversation with Abi's family, Scott failed to express his doubts about their relationship, leading them to believe everything was going smoothly.

However, in a separate chat with his own mum Kim and sister Steph, Scott confessed that he wasn't sure about his feelings for Abi, stating: “There’s something not there at the moment.”

Meanwhile, Abi confided in mum Jill and dad Chris, expressing her fears that Scott might not actually like her.

Reflecting on the rollercoaster of her experience in the villa, having previously been coupled up with Mitch Taylor before Scott, she admitted to struggling with his lack of affection towards her.

Her mom tried to reassure her, praising Scott as a nice guy who cares for her.

Last week Abi confronted Scott about his lack of feelings towards her, beginning: “I do feel like there is a big lack of interest in this.”

This left Scott asking: “What? From me?”

To which Abi replied: “ Yeah. When people are asking you, you don’t have much to say.”

Scott hit back, saying, “This boggles my mind," and adding, "I don’t know how you were with Mitch.”

The heated discussion continued, with Scott asking: “Are you saying you’re not believing what I’m telling you?”

Abi responded by saying: “I don’t know because the things that you’re doing don’t show me that you’re interested.”

Six couples remain in the running for the cash prize of £50k between them: Abi Moores and Scott van der Sluis, Ella Barnes and Mitchel Taylor, Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde, Jess Harding and Sammy, Molly Marsh and Zach Noble, and Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki.

After being on air for nearly two months, the final episode of the series will be next Monday, 31 July. The final will be presented by host Maya Jama live from Majorca and will begin at 9pm.
