Love Island fans ‘work out’ REAL reason ITV bosses planned recoupling for tonight’s show | The Sun

LOVE Island fans have worked out the REAL reason why ITV bosses have planned for the recoupling to happen tonight.

Host Laura Whitmore announced yesterday that the Islanders will have to choose whether to stay coupled up in their previous partnerships, or split and pick one of the hot new bombshells.

Love Island fans will be treated to an extra-long episode TONIGHT as the drama kicks off round the firepit during the recoupling.

Viewers have been eagerly waiting for the Islanders to be reunited as many of the Islanders have been led astray in Casa Amor.

Previews of tonight's show see heartache dished out in brutal scenes as the two villas are merged back together into one.

And fans think they have "worked out" why producers of the ITV2 dating show have chosen to get the recoupling done today.

Many took to Twitter to note that should the two villas merge without a recoupling – and dumping – there would not be enough BEDS to cater for all the Islanders.

"They sent Laura rapidly in for emergency action because if Casa Amor kept going, they'd need 14 beds in the villa," one pointed out.

Another fan chimed in: "The producers are cutting Casa Amor short because they don’t have enough beds in the main villa."

"The producers realized that Casa Amor actually fully worked for the first time ever and they don’t have enough beds in the main villa," a fourth wrote.

Tonight, Love Island has been extended for an extra five minutes as the show promises to be the "most explosive" ever.

A Love Island source told us: "It's one of the best episodes of Love Island ever filmed. It's really explosive – viewers will be shocked at how much drama kicks off tonight.

"There are tears, rows, heartbreak. In eight series, there has never been a more explosive show. Fans should cancel plans to stay in and watch – it's that good."

It's time for the Islanders to face the music after days of getting to know hot new bombshells.

For the boys in particular it's been a case of out of sight out of mind, with Dami Hope, Andrew Le Page and Jacques O'Neill taking full advantage of their newfound freedom.

All three seemed to be secure in their relationship before the introduction of Casa Amor, but now it looks like all three could continue with new partners.

Dami has been cosy with Summer Botwe, while his partner Indiyah Polack has been getting to know Deji Adeniyi.
