Love Island final date ‘confirmed’ as Whitney and Lochan favourite to win
Love Island: Ella and Tyrique argue
Following an explosive argument between Tyrique and Ella on Sunday night’s Love Island, it was revealed fans don’t have long to see if they’ve made it to the final.
Speaking on Aftersun, Sam Thompson noted Ella B only has two and a half weeks to form a relationship before the final.
This means the final episode will take place on Monday 31 July and there are just two weeks for the islanders to find “the one” and win over viewers.
Due to Casa Amor and recent surprise dumpings there are no islanders who are in an exclusive couple and consider themselves in a relationship.
On Sunday night, there was more drama as Abi chose to ditch Mitchel and recouple with Scott.

As the islanders gathered around the fire pit, she said: “I’d like to couple up with this boy as I think it’s safe to say that neither of us have had a smooth journey in here.
“Especially when other people are getting involved in situations, causing triangles.”
Things are only going to get more complicated when in Monday’s episode, Mitchel tells both girls he has strong feelings towards them.
Mitchel might not get too long to flirt with Abi or Ella B thought as a public vote could see him dumped from the island on Tuesday’s show.

It comes as Whitney and Lochan are favourite to win this year’s series despite only being a couple for a few weeks.
According to bookmakers Ladbrokes, the pair have odds of 4/6 of taking home the £50,000 prize money.
They are closely followed behind by Tyrique and Ella at 5/2 but they may have fallen out of favour with the viewers after their latest argument.
At the opposite end, Mitchel and Abi are priced at 22/1 of winning while Scott and Abi are at 12/1.
The odds also don’t look great for Sammy and Jess, at 11/1, and Zachariah and Molly who are priced at 7/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s looking like it’ll take something pretty spectacular to stop Lochan and Whitney being crowned king and queen of this year’s villa, if the latest odds are anything to go by.”
Can Lochan and Whitney steal the win from former favourites Tyrique and Ella?
Love Island airs weeknights on ITV2 at 9pm.
