Love Island hunk Mitchel Taylor looks unrecognisable in an adorable throwback snap as he continues to win over the ladies in the villa.

Over the past few days, the gas engineer has faced his fair share of heartache after Molly Marsh dumped him for beefy bombshell Zachariah Nobel.

But that wasn’t enough to stop the Sheffield native from looking for love as fans watch him put the moves on Jess Harding in upcoming scenes.

However, ITV fans would be forgiven for doing a double take after the TV star shared an alarming throwback snap before he entered the villa.

Back in 2016, the 26-year-old took to the social media platform to pass on his birthday wishes to his close pal.

After looking through a series of nostalgic snaps from his childhood, the hunk found the perfect picture to post online that celebrated their life-long friendship.

In a childhood photograph of the pair stood in matching red T-shirts, Mitchel in a Manchester United shirt and his friend Corey in a bright red sports shirt.

The pair could be seen beaming with pride after a fun-filled football match, but it’s fair to say Mitchel looks world’s away from his now iconic ITV image.

As a child, the engineer rocked a full head of long swoopy locks which he brushed to one side which was all the trend back in 2010.

The reality star couldn’t have been much older than 11 when he wrapped his arm around his friend in the cheerful snap, sporting a much more youthful look.

He captioned the post: “Happy Birthday To My Day One” as his friends shared their surprise at his dramatic glow up.

One user simply penned: “Oh my god” as another agreed: “Dedicated Man U fan [cry-laughing emoji, fist bump emoji].”

It’s fair to say his friends and family much prefer his shorter locks, but will the hunk be able to win the affections of aesthetician Jess as he continues to shower her in affection in the ITV villa?
