Danny became one of the most talked about and controversial contestants on Love Island thanks to his use of the n-word on social media before appearing on the show.
However, this created quite a stir as broadcast regulator Ofcom received 1500 complaints when he did enter the show on July 15 2021.
Danny apologised for using the word while he was in the villa and again after he was dumped.
But that wasn't the only thing that blighted his time on the show as he was also labelled a "manipulator" and a "wife beater" after he was caught up in a love triangle with Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Francis.

Dannyhit out at producers for editing his stint on the show to fit in with a deliberate storyline.
At the time he said: “I can’t emphasise enough how the show is made to be a show for entertainment. If they showed me laughing and joking with Kaz Kamwi, it wouldn’t fit the storyline. So they’ve got to edit it.”
He added: “I’m the nicest guy ever. But I get why people think I’m an absolute psycho because I was the only one who had a pair of balls and said something when someone did something wrong.
He then said: "If they showed you what everyone got up to you wouldn’t be interested, it’s just everyone having fun.”
