Love Island viewers convinced of unaired moment between Kai and Olivia amid tension

Love Island viewers are convinced something has happened between Olivia Hawkins and Kai Fagan as the girls continues to take Olivia's side in their continuous feud.

Tension is high in the South African villa after Olivia said she's still waiting on an apology from Kai, which he has said won't be happening.

It started when both Kai and Olivia recoupled with a bombshell each during the recoupling after Casa Amor, which lead Olivia to get angry at Kai.

Furious with Kai, Olivia laid into him about trust and she repeatedly brought up the fact that he had written a special message in lipstick on a mask for her to think of him while she was away.

"Missing you already," the note read, as Kai also told Olivia to have a great time in Casa Amor.

Since then, fans have been confused at the continuous tension between the two, especially after all the girls are on Olivia's side, making viewers wonder if something happened between them that wasn't aired on the show.

People took to Twitter to discuss their theories, when one person wrote: "I'm convinced that something had happened between kai and olivia that hasn't been shown because how are all these girls in her corner #loveisland"

A second person couldn't understand the girls' reasoning for taking Olivia's side either as they wrote: "Why are the girls surrounding Olivia saying Kai has treat her like s**t? she’s obsessed with him while he’s trying to move on, it’s embarrassing. #LoveIslandUK."

A third person agreed and said: "kai is getting so much s**t from the other girls for recoupling (when olivia did the exact same) but tanya literally recoupled and kissed martin when she was exclusive with shaq and not one girl said anything about that… #loveisland."

A fourth person said: "I don’t blame Kai for protecting his peace, the girls have literally been enabling Olivia and Tanya with their Casa behaviour #loveisland" as another said: "The girls have been truly MANIPULATED by Olivia, poor Kai 🙁 I hope the producers are making sure he’s okay #loveisland"

Viewers were also quick to bring up Sanam Harrinanan, who Kai chose to recouple with after gaining a connection with her during Casa Amor, and how she's stuck in the middle of the fight.

"I feel bad for Sanam. Imagine havin to hear the Girls chat s**t about Kai and feel like she cannot fully defend him because they'll all turn on her with Olivia bein the ring leader.. #LoveIsland," penned one Twitter user.

Another agreed and said: "The girls haven’t really tried to make Sanam feel welcome enough cause they’re team Olivia and Kai has clocked this and that’s why he has kept his distance and spends his time with Sanam which is really sweet but also highlights how insufferable Olivia is #LoveIsland."

Love Island airs each night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
