Love Islands Amber left stunned by Dami and Indiyah romance: I had no clue
Love Island 's Amber Beckford has been left "stunned" by her former partner Dami Hope's relationship with Indiyah Polack following her departure from the villa.
Amber, 24, had been chosen by the public to partner with Dami, 26, and Indiyah, 23, was partnered with Ikenna Ekwonna from the first day in the villa.
Before Amber and Ikenna, 23, were dumped from the villa in a shock double elimination last week, Dami had already started to express an interest in Indiyah, unbeknownst to Amber and Ikenna.
Following Amber and Ikenna's departure from the Love Island villa, things have moved quickly with Dami and Indiyah, who are now coupled up and recently went on a date.
Amber let her feelings be known about the situation, admitting she was left shocked at the revelation of their relationship.
When asked by Love Island: Aftersun host Laura Whitmore, 37, about her thoughts on the new couple, Amber slyly said: "They could have waited till we at least had out water bottles out of there".
She continued: "Yeah, it was a bloody shock, but when it was Ekin-Su and Tasha, I was like, 'Ok, read the room.'"
"I feel like Dami definitely had time to pull me for a chat in-between chats with her. We had kisses in bed like a proper snog, which wasn't shown. He definitely had time to tell me."
She continued: "I was a bit shocked. I wont lie, I spoke to them both and didn't have a clue. They both sad, 'No, just friends.' I was too stunned to speak."
Amber also made her feelings known about Turkish actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, who she accused of "playing a game".
Ekin-Su is now coupled up with newcomer Charlie Radnedge, 28, but she admitted that there is "something special" between her and her previous partner, Italian stallion Davide Sanclimenti, 27.
Amber said: "She was playing a bit of a game, I thought. Great for TV but 24 hours is too much. I was like, 'What's going on here?'"
Indiyah and Dami enjoyed their first romantic date since becoming a couple in last night's episode of Love Island, and Indiyah admitted she saw a future with Dami, even discussing marriage.
She told him: "I feel like we’ve had a crazy journey but I feel like it’s meant to happen," before adding: "People have come and gone in the Villa but we’ve both been here the whole time so it’s like, sometimes it’s right in front of you."
She then asked Dami: "Do you think everything is just falling into place perfectly?"
Dami replied: "Yeah but like, too perfect to be honest like, it just feels too perfect."
Indiyah then said: "Too good to be true, hey?"
Indiyah added: "People have come and gone in the villa but we’ve both been here the whole time so it’s like, sometimes it’s right in front of you."
After returning to the villa, Indiyah told the girls: "Not going to lie, I think that was the best date I've ever had in my life … I don't think my head will be turned. Right now it's tunnel vision," whilst Dami admitted that he was "smitten".
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
