Love Islands Andrew Le Page shares heartbreaking family news after tragic death

Love Island star Andrew Le Page's grandfather has passed away.

The former real estage agent, who found fame on the ITV2 dating show last summer, shared the heartbreaking news with his fans on Instagram.

He penned: "Today we say goodbye to the best grandad in the world. RIP." alongside a snap of himself and girlfriend Tasha Ghouri standing either side of his late relative.

In the snap, Andrew donned a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt, whilst Tasha was in black leggings and a blazer, as they stood with his grandad, who beamed in a checked shirt and chinos.

Tasha, who met Andrew on Love Island, also paid tribute to her boyfriend's grandad as she screenshot the pic and added it to her own Instagram story with a sweet note.

It read: "This incredible man made me feel so welcome into the family and heaven truly gained an angel. We love you!"

The couple's heartbreaking social media posts come just days after their appearance on Love Island: Aftersun on Sunday (January 22).

It was the first spin-off show of the new winter series, which included host Maya Jama and new Love Island: The Morning After podcast host Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack.

Andrew and Tasha discussed the latest going's on in the current series as they coordinated outfits, with Tasha in an eye-catching black leather co-ord and enjoying Andrew sporting beige chinos and a gilet.

The pair's relationship appears to be going from strength to strength since they met on the eighth series of the show.

They spent New Year together in Australia after Tasha surprised her beau with a ticket as an early Christmas present.

He took to Instagram to post a picture of a ticket to Australia, which departed on January 1 2023, alongside an "Australia" hat and cuddly koala toy that Tasha had surprised him with.

Tasha had the ticket made for him, which featured gold lettering, the date of his departure and "Happy Christmas Andrew. I love you" on the top.

Andrew wrote: "I’m going to AUSTRALIA . @tashaghouri you’re honestly the best person in the world," as Tasha re-shared it on her own story.

She also shared a snap of herself and Andrew to her Instagram stories as she wrote: "Australia babyyyy!"
