Love Island stars Teddy Soares and Faye Winter have broken up after nearly two years together.

Faye, 27, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday with a snap of her Golden Retriever dog, Bonnie, that she brought with Teddy last year, alongside a statement confirming their split.

She wrote: "I wanted to let you know that after lots of tine and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.

"Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us. Lots of love, Faye and Bonnie."

It is believed that Teddy, 28, has moved out of the home they brought together after leaving the villa.

Split rumours began swirling the couple last year after fans noticed they hadn't shared snaps of each other on their social media.

Faye fuelled speculation further last month after posting a cryptic message on Instagram alongside a video as she posed in skimpy lingerie.

She captioned the clip: "Valentines isn’t just for couples it’s also a time to fall in love with yourself."

As many of her followers flocked to the comments to leave adoring messages, others wondered if this was Faye's way of revealing she had split from her beau.

On February 4, Teddy addressed the speculation surrounding their relationship.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, he said: "Everything you have been reading in the press is false. I have had nothing but love and respect for Faye since we first met.

"I do not wish to comment on rumours speculating about our relationship and ask for you to respect our privacy at this time."

Faye and Teddy met on series seven of Love Island in 2021 and were the last surviving couple of the series.

It seemed the couple were going from strength to strength since leaving the villa and even took the next step in their relationship by getting a dog together in September 2022.

Sharing the post on Instagram, the duo were all smiles as they posed with Bonnie in their garden.

Captioning her post, Faye penned: "When two become three…"
