Love Island’s Molly breaks down in tears over exit as fans react to Tyrique’s ‘savage’ dig

Love Island aired Molly Marsh's emotional exit on Sunday night's episode as the Islander burst into tears over her shock dumping from the villa.

The 21-year-old was dumped after season two's Kady McDermott made her return to the show, and chose to couple up with Zachariah Noble, who was in a couple with Molly – resulting in the latter being eliminated immediately.

Despite fans being convinced that Molly was set to make a return, the musical theatre performer has been seen landing back at Leeds Bradford Airport.

And Sunday's episode saw Molly's exit as the musical theatre performer burst into tears while having an emotional goodbye with everyone and partner Zachariah.

However, fans were left distracted during the scenes as Tyrique Hyde pulled Zachariah, 25, to one side and told him he can't leave as Molly isn't his girl.

While later, he reiterated his feelings by saying: "Later, Molly" and joked Zachariah will now be straight into bed with Kady.

Viewers were quick to react to Tyrique's "savage" remarks as they worried if he would do the same to his partner Ella Thomas.

One person said: "I can’t believe Ty is talking ‘later Molly’ and telling Zack to move to Kady when it so could have been Ella going home?? Just shows how easy he would be willing to drop her :/ #LoveIsland #loveislandaftersun."

A different account put: "Omg not Molly later, Tyrique is savage and Ella needs to run #loveisland."

Another follower wrote: "Not tyrique saying “later molly” he doesn’t care #LoveIsland."

A different viewer said: ""Later, Molly" Tyrique is savage #LoveIsland."

While a different fan added: "When ty said:it doesn’t matter she’s not your girl like ty come on now #LoveIsland" with another writing: "Ty is a savage she’s not your girl #LoveIsland."

Meanwhile, the girls commented on how if Zachariah was dumped, Molly would have walked with him – something the basketball player has failed to do for her.

Later, Zachariah pulled Kady for a chat, saying it was a nice surprise she picked him and he is attracted to her but wants to take things slowly.

Although later he did admit it was a "s****y outcome" but there was "no bad blood" and if he and Molly are "meant to be, it will be".

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
