Love Island's Olivia and Maxwell are doomed – they were entertaining but will never last, says former star | The Sun
AXED Love Island pairing Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda won't last in the outside world, according to a former show star.
The duo were sent packing in dramatic scenes last night after being voted the least compatible couple – and they took another couple with them.
Now island alumni Danica Taylor has given her view on their chances of succeeding after the show, and she doesn't think it looks good.
Writing for OK!, she said: "I think Olivia and Maxwell will last as long as me and Jamie [Allen] did… so I’m giving it a matter of weeks!
"Now that Olivia’s out of the villa, she could be in for a rough ride and she’ll be crossing paths with other Islanders, who she has perhaps annoyed, at events.
"I think she’ll lean on Maxwell in those situations but realistically, she was never really that interested in him – he was just convenient for her during Casa Amor. If they do make it work, I’ll gladly eat my words! But I really can’t see it happening."

Olivia was full of praise for Maxwell after being dumped.
But she couldn't resist making a dig at one of the girls as she prepared to return the UK.
Olivia, 27, called Jessie Wynter's behaviour "questionable".
Asked how things were between her and the Aussie bombshell, Olivia said: "Me and Jessie are on good terms.

"My opinion of her and Will is separate from what I actually think of her as a person.
"I think she is a lovely girl but some of her actions were questionable, which other people felt too."
It came after Jessie was criticised for getting involved in other couples' disputes following Love Island's Movie Night drama where the Islanders' Casa Amor secrets were exposed.
Olivia told her last night: "You got involved, you got quite irate and in other people's business and it did seem like you were putting it on a bit.”
However, she was much more positive about Maxwell, even saying she was happy to be leaving the villa because she was in a couple.
Olivia said tonight: "I am so glad I explored connections and I was there when Maxwell came in because he was definitely worth the wait.
"We’re going on a date as soon as we can. I think we might go for dinner or maybe do a fun activity because we are both very spontaneous.
She added: "I’m so excited to meet his friends and family and he’s excited to meet mine too.
"It’s all very exciting, I’ve never felt this way about a guy before."
Maxwell and Olivia decided Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand would also be axed from the show last night.
Olivia insisted it had been a painful decision, saying: “This has been a really difficult decision for both of us.
"Do you keep a couple in that could potentially rebuild a flame? Do you keep a boy and a girl that haven't had enough time here?
