LOVE Island's top foodie has revealed the one menu switch that left contestants hugely "unhappy."
The ITV2 programme's head chef Ferenc caters for both the show stars as well as the wider production team, from a tent kitchen situated in the wider villa compound.
Ferenc was eager not to put the blame on Love Island's season eight stars – yet instead told how it was the previous cohort who kicked off at his menu change.
He told a Reddit video there was plenty of scope for vegan and vegetarian meals, and continued: "Monday we just do vegetarian and vegan food, so lots of options.
"Every week, every single week.
"We started this last year – and last year the people weren't really happy with that – but this year they are.

"It's just one day, one day without meat. It's a message for the people – you don't need to eat meat every single day."
Ferenc confirmed that, despite having their own kitchen, villa grub was shipped in each day.
He added: "We do lunch and dinner for the, every single day
"They always eat the food, but they really like the burger and the ribs as well.

It is the biggest cooking space yet and boasts an L-shaped white island with granite coloured built-in units and drawers.
The whole thing is set on wooden decking, overlooking a seating area and the rolling hills.
