Paramount Network’s hit western drama Yellowstone will soon be making its highly anticipated return with season five. Although the series ended with a major death, and one clue has suggested fans could be in for more heartwrenching scenes.

Yellowstone followed the lives of the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner).

Alongside his three adult children and army of ranch hands, they stayed busy working on the land and battling constant conflict.

As the Dutton ranch was the largest in the United States, the family had to deal with the threat of casino moguls, land developers and the Broken Rock Reservation.

Although the affluent businessmen offered millions of dollars for the land, John had refused as the ranch had been in his family for seven generations.

Despite this, the Dutton family continued to operate in a corrupt world where they had to defend themselves from those it bordered.

This included major threats to their own lives.

The show also explored the lives of the ranch hands who devoted their lives to working for John.

As they would also live on the land, viewers saw the issues they also navigated through, which often surrounded romance.

This was the case for Laramie (Hassie Harrison), whose appearance in season three sparked a major conflict between Lloyd (Forrie J Smith) and Walker (Ryan Bingham).

Tensions soon reached a boiling point in season four when Walker began to flaunt his romance with Laramie in front of Lloyd.

As Laramie had slept with Lloyd first, he became bitter and jealous as he felt the cowboy had stolen his girlfriend.

This resulted in a fight which saw Lloyd smash his guitar and throw a knife near his heart.

Although Laramie and Walker have made their romance official, it looks as though the two could meet their deaths in season five.

Yellowstone’s official Instagram page posted a photo of the stars who play Walker and Laramie, alongside Ian Bohen, who portrays Ryan.

The picture of the trio was captioned: “Rip’s probably out of frame telling them to get back to work.”

Despite the funny sentiment of the caption, fans were calling for Laramie’s exit via the train station, which was nicknamed on the show for murder.

Viewer @chrissyblue0 stated: “Walker and buckle bunny to the train station. The other one can stay.”

@lyndacurlyhair agreed: “Walker and the buckle bunny need to leave. I do not care how. Preferably the train station.”

@valthehbic commented: “They need to ditch the troublemaker Laramie. Nothing but trouble and trash.”

Another fed-up fan @naamhell804 added: “They need to leave, why are they still there? These girls bring nothing to the ranch but trouble.”

With Walker still working alongside Lloyd on the ranch, this could spark another blowout between the two, which could turn deadly.

As for Laramie, she could end up getting caught in the middle and get struck with a bullet, alongside her lover.

Yellowstone season five will premiere on Paramount Network Sunday, November 13
