Ashley has spoken candidly about the impact of her first pregnancy, where she welcomed son Alfie River, in January 2021.

She told how she felt "made to be a mum and that the tot had helped her combat her "anxiety".

Speaking in a recent interview, she explained: "I love being a mum, every day I love him more.

"Before he came along, I suffered from anxiety, but now I feel calm and content, as if I was made to be a mum."

The ex E4 show favourite also shared some details from the birth, admitting that it was harder than the two marathons that she's run.

She told Hello magazine: "I've run two marathons, but giving birth is harder. I was in labour for 18 hours, but Tommy was with me all the way, holding my hand. And when Alfie finally emerged, it was amazing.

"I used to think that I didn't want children. Now I can't imagine not wanting a baby or being without him."

Ashley announced baby Alfie's arrival last year, posting a sweet snap of his foot on her Instagram page.
