Married At First Sight Australia star Jesse was left gushing over his new bride Clare the moment he saw her walk down the aisle.

But his joy and excitement didn’t last long as he was soon left fuming at the wedding reception.

In the latest explosive episode, viewers were introduced to the latest singletons, getting ready to say “I do” to a complete stranger.

And for Tuesday’s show, it was Jesse and Clare turn.

Meeting for the first time at the aisle, both of them were left buzzing with what they saw, with Jesse branding his new wife as “ungodly hot.”

“Oh my god. Her eyes, her hair, just the whole body language. She’s ungodly hot!” he proclaimed.

However, things took an awkward turn at the wedding reception.

“When’s your birthday again?” Clare asked, not knowing that “star sign chicks” are one of Jesse's biggest icks.

Pausing for a few more seconds, he replied July the 2nd,” to which Clare responded, “You’re a cancer.”

Off-screen he told producers: “Oh, f***ing hell, she’s a star sign chick.”

It only got worse when she then asked if he’s into crystals, to which he responded with: “No, not really.”

“I’m concerned that we’re moving into ick territory,” Jesse told the producers.

“We’re in ick territory, and it’s pretty bad, man.”
