Mike Tyson Blasts Hulu for Making Unauthorized Miniseries About Him

In one of his angry posts, the former professional boxer argues, ‘Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother @danawhite millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life.’

AceShowbizMike Tyson is clearly not happy with Hulu’s upcoming miniseries, “Mike“. Taking to his social media accounts, the former professional boxer put the streaming service on blast for producing an “authorized” series on his life without his consent.

The athlete voiced his frustration via Twitter. “Hulu stole my story. They’re Goliath and I’m David. Heads will roll for this,” he first penned, before adding in another post, “Hey @hulu I’m not a n****r you can sell on the auction block #slaverysover #f**khulu… Hulu’s model of stealing life rights of celebrities is egregiously greedy.”

Not done calling out the streaming service, Mike turned to Instagram to warn his fans not to watch the show. “Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother @danawhite millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life. He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity. I’ll never forget what he did for me just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me,” he argued.

“Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block,” Iron Mike continued. In the caption, he wrote, “Hulu is the streaming version of the slave master. They stole my story and didn’t pay me.”

Also slamming Hulu over the upcoming miniseries was Mauricio Sulaiman, current president of the WBC. “A fighter who was like a son to my father is Mike Tyson I just spoke to him I’m so upset to learn that his upcoming series were [sic] produced without his involvement and consent @theWBCBoxing was mislead by @Hulu and we provided belts for production Mike Tyson Is a legend RESPECT,” Mauricio fumed.

In response, Mike replied, “Someone should get fired from Hulu.” He went on to stress, “Producers were lying to my friends saying I supported the unauthorized series about my life.”

The trailer for “Mike” was released in July. Creators of the eight-part series were those who were also responsible for the biopic on former American figure skater Tonya Harding called “I, Tonya”. Hulu has yet to respond to Mike’s statements.
