While the NCISverse is no stranger to a crossover in its long-standing history on CBS – season 20 of the flagship series opened with another joint operation with NCIS Hawaii’s second run, for example – but never have all the shows come together at once. That’s all set to change in the coming months as NCIS boss Alden Parker (played by Gary Cole) and his team will be joining forces with Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) and NCIS LA’s G Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J). And now, fans have their first peek at the hotly-anticipated event.
With a release date for the NCISverse event penned in the diary for January 2023, fans will now be glad to know filming has commenced.
Thanks to Nick Torres star Wilmer Valderrama, diehard viewers now for the first time get to see all their favourite agents from all their favourite shows in one place.
Valderrama took to Instagram to share a selfie of himself and his co-stars from the set of the crossover.
He was joined by the likes of Gerard McRaney, LL Cool J, Chris O’Donnell, Daniela Ruah, Medalion Rahimi and Eric Christian Olsen from the Los Angeles-based spin-off.

While NCIS Hawaii’s Vanessa Lachey and Yasmine Al-Bustami also crowded into the picture as the stars stood beside a plane.
Valderrama was the only NCIS star to take part in the selfie but fans needn’t worry about whether the likes of Sean Murray and Katrina Law will join him on-screen.
The Nick Torres star captioned the post: “Gonna go ahead and leave this ‘first time ever’ over here, Three’s Company?
“Or 3 #NCIS teams joining for 1 epic case?” he teased before concluding: “Coming soon….”
Once he shared the snap to social media, it didn’t take long for others in the NCIS world to replicate his excitement.
NCIS LA’s Ruah shared the same snap with the caption: “This has been a beautiful experience!
“Can’t wait for y’all to see what’s in store… love the NCISverse familia.”
However, notable absentee from the snap, NCIS LA star Caleb Castille, had a rather funny reaction to the selfie.

On his Instagram Stories, Castille explained his absence: “I picked a great time to use the bathroom,” followed by a laughing emoji.
However, he still assured fans: “Such an epic episode coming!!!” (sic)
While the cast has guaranteed fans can expect an “epic” episode when the crossover rolls around, so far few details have emerged as to what they can expect.
Instead, fans will have to keep up with the 20th run of NCIS, the 14th season of NCIS LA, and the second instalment of NCIS Hawaii to see how their worlds will collide.
NCIS Hawaii has only crossed over with NCIS before, making this the first time Jane Tennant will have ever worked with Callen and co.
The Hawaii-based spin-off took over the void left by the cancellation of the Scott Bakula-led NCIS New Orleans.
After seven seasons on CBS, NCIS NOLA came to a close with Hawaii’s introduction announced soon after.
NCIS Sydney is also currently in the works although a release date and cast details remain under wraps for now.
NCIS season 20 and NCIS Hawaii season 2 air Mondays on CBS in the USA. NCIS LA season 14 airs Sundays on CBS in the USA. UK release dates are yet to be announced.
