Phil's death warning to Keanu in EastEnders after Sharon bombshell

Can we just take a moment for Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) in EastEnders please, he’s very good at putting his foot in it, isn’t he?

Tuesday’s edition of the BBC One soap saw Keanu and Sam (Kim Medcalf) reveal a huge secret – they were lovers while in Spain.

Yup.

Phil (Steve McFadden) – obviously – reacted terribly to the news Keanu had now slept with Sharon, his daughter and his sister but ultimately, they still had a job to do – destroy Keeble.

This week, Phil confronted his enemy in the Arches and told him about the latest part of the plan, telling him to feed information on an upcoming job to Keeble and record enough evidence to incriminate her and get Billy off the hook.

Phil promised Keanu that if they bury Keeble then he can stay in Walford, where he wants to be close to Albie.

Tonight, the promise was very quickly destroyed.

After Keanu recorded Keeble revealing her idea to plant a gun that’s linked to loads of crimes on Phil, he headed over to the Mitchell household and pressed play on the audio file.

Phil was very pleased, it looked as though these two were actually on the same page…and then Keanu confirmed another reason why he was back in Walford.

Keanu wondered that with Phil and Kat (Jessie Wallace) firmly an item, he might be able to get back with Sharon – something he absolutely shouldn’t have told the man she was once married to.

Phil’s plan was then flipped on its head – Keanu was the focus now, and Phil told him that if he’s still in Walford after New Year – he’s a dead man.
