Real life soap couple share romantic pics as they holiday together for wedding

Hollyoaks star Nikki Sanderson and Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan were all smiles as they posed for pictures during a romantic getaway.

Nikki, who portrays Maxine Minniver in the Channel 4 soap, took to social media to share some snaps from a trip to Italy for their friend’s wedding.

’30/07/22 … a fabulous day celebrating my wonderful friends @joj2929 & @pure_preston incredible wedding,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘The church in Positano was simply stunning and the reception in Sorrento was a dream.

‘Congratulations to two very special people in my life, thank you for letting us share your special day with you

Love you millions.’

It was first reported earlier this year that Anthony – who was previously in a relationship with Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell – had struck up a romance with Nikki.

Anthony spoke about their relationship in April, reiterating how happy he is and describing his partner as ‘special’.

Admitting that he’s ‘always fancied’ Nikki, the Pete Barton actor shared that they ‘had a bit of a laugh’ over speculation that they met at the gym.

‘I slid into the DMs and that was it. I was lucky enough to get a date and the rest is history,’ he told The Sun.

‘All I can say is I’m really, really happy and she’s a very special girl. She’s lovely. I’m happy that it is what it is and we haven’t got everyone prying.’

Nikki, meanwhile, gave a bit more of an insight into the duo’s new romance to fans, after enjoying a night out.

Alongside a picture of the pair smiling next to each other, Nikki wrote on Instagram: ‘The happiest of happy birthdays to the man who makes me smile the most.’
