Rita Ora reveals secret voice notes from Taika Waititi in emotional comeback song | The Sun
RITA Ora has opened up about using private voice notes from Taika Waititi in her comeback single.
On Friday, Rita Ora, 32, dropped You Only Love Me, the lead track to her long awaited as of yet untitled third album.
At the start of the song the Taika can be heard saying: "Rita it's me" before talking further at the end of the track.
Explaining why she decided to use the snippets, Rita explained: "I keep lots of voice notes.
"I wanted to incorporate that personal lived experience within my music and give fans a window into my world.
"I wanted to capture the vulnerability I experienced as I opened myself up to love and entered a new phase of life."

In August this year, The Sun told how Rita has secretly tied the knot with the Hollywood director.
Stopping short of confirming the happy news, the singer teased: "And yes, I feel like I have now found my happy ending! I’m so grateful to have met Taika – he’s such a supportive person."
The track's accompanying video features cameos from Lindsay Lohan, Kristen Stewart, Addison Rae, Sharon Stone, Jodie Turner-Smith and Chelsea Handler.
"I’m so grateful for my friends, who I love deeply, for taking part in this video," she adds.

"It depicts more of an alternative universe ‘nightmare’ wedding, rather than a real wedding.
"The album is definitely very ,very personal.
"It reveals different ways I felt at different points of my journey in life and love.
"I have written every single song on the album either alone or with other musicians, and I have enjoyed every minute of the process."
The album, Rita's first since 2018's Pheonix which peaked at number 8 in the UK charts, is due out later this yearand continues one track Girl in the Mirror which Rita has described as her "coming to terms with herself".
On the track, Rita sings:“I cheated on you in the best way /with someone I've known my whole life / I know that you can’t forgive me / but this just feels so right”.
Explaining the meaning of the track, Rita told GQ Hype: "I’m singing to the bad version of me, saying 'I'm cheating on you, because I loved myself my whole life and only just noticed it.'
"It’s also a way of me shedding away all the ju-ju that I’ve been holding on to.
"My own demons that I had. I think [that song] is an example of [me saying] 'I’m going to look after me now.'"
