Ryan Connor gets tragic news after acid attack in Coronation Street | The Sun

DAISY Midgeley's stalker ordeal escalated into a horrific acid attack which left Ryan Connor traumatised and hurt.

The Coronation Street character played by Ryan Prescott gets tragic news as he continues to recover from the assault.

The Bistro waiter stood between Daisy Midgeley and Justin Rutherford when the unstable character aimed to make the barmaid pay for not giving him the attention he wanted from her.

Justin (played by Andrew Still) was arrested after being tricked by Daisy but Ryan has a long way to go as the attack will be life-changing for him.

Coming up on ITV next week, Ryan is still recovering from the ordeal in hospital while Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) attends Justin's plea hearing.

The Weatherfield teacher is shocked when Justin pleads not guilty and braces himself to break the news to Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) who couldn't face the hearing.

In an attempt to uplift him and boost his confidence, Daisy takes Crystal to see Ryan in hospital.

He thanks her for bringing Crystal in as he reveals that discussing gigs in Ibiza – where he was planning to settle prior to his acid attack – gives him something to focus on and look forward to.
