Sharon makes a big decision about her love life in EastEnders

Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) makes it quite clear that she doesn’t need a man in EastEnders, after a discussion about her love life with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).

Kat, as viewers know, is currently in a relationship with Sharon’s old flame Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), which has caused conflict between the two.

Sharon was keen to rekindle things with Phil, but despite it being quite clear that he is still in love with her, Phil resolved to start a new life with Kat.

Kat, however, has been left increasingly frustrated by Phil’s lack of contact since he departed the Square earlier this year, and upcoming scenes will see her attempt to get in touch with him.

Her efforts, however, prove unsuccessful.

Frustrated, Kat subsequently locks horns with Sharon, as a row ensues, but soon enough, the iconic legends start to bond over the challenges of being Phil’s other half.

We can only imagine the hardship they’ve been through.

As the subject matter turns to Sharon’s love life, Kat comments that she will find love again.

Sharon, however, is adamant that she doesn’t need a man.

The question is: with Phil set to stage a comeback in time for Christmas, will he find himself conflicted between his two loves once more?

It’s quite clear to audiences that Sharon is where his heart lies, but just who will he ultimately choose?
