Strictly Come Dancing star Shirley Ballas hit back at a heckling audience member – by inviting them to come up and face her.

The fiesty judge was delivering her verdict on the performance she had just watched when one individual in the crowd started booing her opinions.

Shirley then stunned viewers as she stopped and turned her head to see who had interrupted her – and called them out for the move.

Shocked fans of the show then took to Twitter to air their surprise at her lashing out at the troll.

One wrote: "Shirley inviting the audience member who booed her to come up? Incredible scenes."
