Spoilers: Denise cheats on Jack as she and Ravi get together in EastEnders

Denise Fox (Diane Parish) has been fighting off desires for Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) in EastEnders for some time now, but tonight things finally got steamy between them.

Valentine’s Day is a time for romance, but someone forgot to tell Denise that its meant to be with your significant other.

In fact, husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) ended up being the catalyst for Ravi and Denise’s passionate kiss, as he confessed to Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) that his Valentine’s date plans had been all Amy’s (Ellie Dadd) idea.

Unbeknownst to him, Denise was hiding in the kitchen, alongside flirty Ravi, who had come to pay Denise a visit.

After Jack had surprised her with a date night earlier in the day, Denise had headed home to get changed, when she was interrupted by Ravi paying her an unexpected visit.

He was determined to get her to admit that she had feelings for him, though Denise refused to give him the satisfaction.

It was then that Jack returned home, with Sam in tow, hoping to pick up a game for Ricky Jnr (Frankie Day).

Denise rushed Ravi into the kitchen in an attempt to get rid of him, only to find that the back door was locked and they were trapped.

Hurt by having overheard Jack’s sudden confession, Denise finally let her barriers down and leaned in for a steamy kiss with Ravi.

The tension between the pair has been building for a few weeks now, as Jack and Denise’s marriage hit the rocks.

They’ve had a lot to deal with, with Amy’s mental health issues and Ricky being revealed as the father of 12-year-old Lily Slater’s (Lillia Turner) baby, so it is no wonder that their marriage has been pushed aside.

Will this kiss be a one off, or is the start of something more for Ravi and Denise?
