Spoilers: Matty to seek revenge on Suzy for Holly’s death in Emmerdale?

There were plenty of shocked people in tonight’s Emmerdale as the news sank in that Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) had given Holly Barton money and sent her to buy drugs – money which Holly used to buy the heroin that killed her.

Moira (Natalie J. Robb) talked things over with Cain (Jeff Hordley), and it was clear that she’d decided that, although Suzy had kept quiet about what happened, she wasn’t ultimately responsible for what had happened to her daughter. ‘Holly sealed her own fate that night,’ she told Cain.

At that point, Matty (Ash Palmisciano) walked into the room and demanded to know what was going on, so Moira told him the whole story. He was furious, telling his mum she was ‘stupid’ for letting it go.

He angrily said that Suzy wasn’t going to get away with it and stormed out, Cain following closely behind. Moira was left clutching a photo of her daughter and sobbing as all her grief came bubbling up.

Meanwhile Matty had found Suzy and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) in the village. Raging, he called Suzy ‘scum’ and ‘a murderer.’ Cain had to usher him away, telling him to support his mum ‘and let her grieve in peace’ rather than trying to get revenge against Suzy.

It’s not all that often that Cain is the voice of reason.

Will Matty pay attention to his words, or will his anger erupt at Suzy once again as he seeks revenge?
