Body found drowned in pool and Roy makes a decision in Corrie tonight

After Rufus answered the door and looked pretty fearful, it was clear that he was doomed. Tonight’s Coronation Street (Friday, April 14) confirms his fate, as he is found dead, floating in his swimming pool.

It seems like Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has claimed his next victim; but as Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) once again is near a death, will Stephen be caught?

Or could Michael be being set up?

Having failed to meet up with Rufus, Michael goes cap in hand to Stephen and asks if he can remain at Underworld.

Stephen snaps that he’s too late and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) is his new Head of Design.

Ronnie advises Michael to go back to Rufus’ house and do his best to smooth things over, but as they turn up, they find it swarming with police.

When the housekeeper reveals that Rufus is dead and she found his body in the swimming pool.
