STEPHEN Bear's fiancee's dream of becoming a top reality TV star has been quashed by ITV.
Earlier this week, The Sun exclusively reported how bride-to-be Jessica Smith had her sights set on reality TV – and a spot on Big Brother – to follow in her man's footsteps.
We told how banged-up Bear, 32, has been advising Jessica, 22, how to apply for the new Big Brother series so he can watch her on TV in prison, a source revealed.
Yet now we can report how his advice – and her small screen hopes – have been shot down.
A source exclusively told us: "ITV bosses aren’t keen on her [Jessica] appearing on the show – after everything that happened with Bear on the show and afterwards, they think it would be a terrible move to have her on the new series."
The show, which Bear won in 2016, is due to return to our screens in autumn on ITV2, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best. ITV has also dropped hints online that a Celebrity Big Brother is in the works.

A source previously told The Sun: "Jess is really keen with the idea of making it from social media on to TV, and who better to guide her through the process than Stephen himself – who of course won the show.
"Stephen is coaching her through the process so far, giving his tips as to how to come across best to show’s producers and Jess is grateful for the inside track on things from him."
Just days ago she finished her audition tape for Big Brother, according to a source.
Meanwhile Bear's own victory on the series didn't come without controversy.

Jessica has stood by him and has been visiting him regularly as he serves a 21-month sentence at HMP Chelmsford.
She has regularly flashed her bling engagement ring during her trips, as well as wearing a host of revealing outfits to visit the vile convict.
