Strictly Come Dancing 2022 LATEST — Kym Marsh returns for Week 11 TONIGHT after Covid & deals fan favourite a MAJOR blow | The Sun

STRICTLY star Kym Marsh is returning for the Quarter Finals TONIGHT after she was forced to miss last's live show week due to Covid.

Actress Kym Marsh, 46, began training again this week and will return to Strictly Come Dancing as she and pro partner Graziano, 28, perform a Cha Cha Cha for Musicals Week tonight.

Meanwhile, former frontrunner Hamza Yassin's odds of winning Strictly 2022 have fallen away as new data reveals he’s no longer the show's favourite star.

In fact, online search trends analysed by Gambling.com show that Kym is now the new favourite among fans of the show.

It comes as Will Mellor last week topped the leaderboard with his opening Charleston routine, performed with Nancy Xu – but Ellie Taylor was forced to hang up her shoes after being voted off.

Ellie Taylor went home from Strictly Come Dancing last week

Ellie Taylor became the ninth celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing, missing out on a place in this week’s quarter final and musicals special.

Following the public vote, the Ted Lasso actress, 38, found herself up against Fleur East in the dance-off.

Taylor took to the floor to perform the jive to Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison with her professional partner Johannes Radebe.

After struggling to impress the judges with her Thelma & Louise-themed performance during Saturday night’s live edition of the BBC One show, Taylor once again left them feeling underwhelmed.

    How Strictly helped Molly Rainford

Molly Rainford is the youngest celeb in this year’s Strictly, however, she explained how the show helped her to grow from a girl into a woman.

She said: “Strictly is definitely bringing out a different side in me, but it was tricky not feeling awkward about being that sensual and feminine.

“Of course, it was important that this dance was more than a sexy rumba — we also wanted to show this romantic story and the passionate side of us.

“But it was great to show the adult side of me and not just be the kid of the competition.”

Strictly team ‘is buzzing for us’ says Helen Skelton

Helen Skelton was asked about her previous experience setting a Guinness World Record and how that compares to heading towards the Strictly Come Dancing final.

She replied: “I think is a very similar process…It was always about pushing myself and challenging myself and making myself uncomfortable.

“The nice thing about this is it’s a team, when I was in Antarctica, I was on my own.

“(Me and Gorka have) said a million times it was great to get nice to these comments.

“It was amazing that the crowd was so happy but what was great was the other dancers and the other people in the show (who) were absolutely buzzing for us.

“That is the biggest compliment ever.”

What did Ellie Taylor say about competing in Strictly?

When asked by host Tess Daly whether the competition had been everything she had expected, Taylor said: “It has and it’s been, I’m going to be a cliche machine now, but it’s been everything and more.

“I never in a million years expected to be in for this long and to experience it so fully.

“Strictly is about dancing but it’s also about the people, and every part of this show from the top to bottom, from the execs to the make-up, to the hair to the costumes, to the sets to the band, to my fellow celebs and the dancers – even some of the judges have been alright.

“It’s been an absolute privilege to become part of the Strictly alumni and I’ve really, really loved it.”
