With hot hook-up confessions to the famous Strictly curse, there is a lot that goes on during the show that meets the eye.

So as the programme kicks off for a brand new series, Daily Star has taken a look at Strictly Come Dancing scandalous sex confessions.

Secret dressing room romps

Former professional dancers and married couple James and Ola Jordan admitted that they previously had sex in their dressing room while they appeared on the BBC show.

In 2016, the couple were asked where was the naughtiest place they've been hot and steamy with one another.

Talking frankly Ola told new! magazine: "Er… the Strictly dressing room! Did I just say that? Nooo! The BBC won't be happy but there you go."

James claimed late Strictly host that Bruce Forsyth was also "next door" at the time of their romp.

One night rendezvous

In 2017 , reports emerged that two Strictly stars had been involved in a one night stand.

According to reports it was believed that two indviduals had an "instant connection" as soon as they met but they kept their secret hook-up away from their co-stars.

But despite keeping hush, the news quickly got out.

Speaking to Daily Star Sunday at the time, a source said: "The fling is now being openly discussed on Twitter – meaning it could soon become public knowledge among Strictly's millions of viewers."

"To have their identities leaked online is a complete nightmare.

"It started as a bit of flirting and suddenly they're the latest in a long line of romances on the show."

The famous Strictly curse

BBC's popular dancing compeition has been famously known to make or break relationships with a number of famous faces who have taken part in show experiencing turbulence.

Due to the amount of times it has taken place, many have named it as the Strictly curse.

The very first person to fall under the curse was professional dancer Brendan Cole in 2004 when he split from his fiancée Camilla Dallerup after reports claimed he was growing close to his dancing partner Natasha Kaplinsky.

However Natasha and Brendan both denied the allegations at the time.

The other famous examples include Countdown's Rachel Riley splitting from her husband a few months after appearing on Strictly in 2013 and then starting a relationship with her dance partner (and now husband) Pasha Kovalev.

Another incident occurred in 2018 when Stacey Dooley split from her boyfriend Sam Tucknott and later became romantically involved with her partner Kevin Clifton, who Sam had branded a "snake" when he discovered their relationship.

Stacey and Clifton recently revealed that they're now expecting their first child together.

Matt Di Angelo and Flavia Cacace

EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo and his professional dancer Flavia Cacace's romance is still classed as one of the most memorable romances in Strictly history.

When the pair were partnered in 2007, Flavia was already in a long-term relationship with her dance partner Vincent Simone.

But Matt, who was eight years Flavia's junior, started dating her when their series came to an end, with Vincent publicly admitting that he thinks Matt ruined their relationship.

Flavia and Matt's relationship lasted three years. Flavia later went on to date another partner, Jimi Mistry, who she ended up marrying in 2013.

Seann Walsh and Katya Jones

Comedian Seann and his dance partner Katya Jones' rendezvous quickly became the centre of controversy when they were seen kissing in the street after a night out in London in 2018.

At the time the kiss occurred, Seann was already in a long-term relationship while Katya was married to fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones.

Despite the rumour mill going into overdrive, both Seann and Katya denied that it was anything more than a drunken kiss.

But the drunken kiss clearly rocked both their relationships as reports claimed their was trouble in paradise for both couples.

Although pro dancer Neil stuck by Katya their marriage came to an end shortly after.

Kristina Rihanoff

Professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff was partnered with boxer Joe Calzaghe in 2009, who split up with his girlfriend Jo-Emma Larvin a little while after appearing in the competition.

After their relationship ended in 2013, Kristina was partnered with Ben Cohen. But not long after the series came to an end, Ben broke off his marriage to Abby Blayney, who he'd been with for 23 years.

However both Ben and Kristina denied any affair claims but Abby later blamed Kristina for her marriage breakdown.

Not long after the former dance partners confirmed they were a couple and they welcomed their daughter in 2016.
