Strictly Come Dancing will air on Friday instead of Saturday this week as the BBC changed the schedule to avoid clashes with the World Cup. Although Helen Skelton has become one of the bookies’ favourites to reach the Grand Final, new data suggests she may find herself in the dreaded dance-off on Saturday.

Digital marketing agency Mediaworks have mapped out the sentiment scores of each remaining celebrity using data from Twitter.

From November 19 to December 1, Molly Rainford has the lowest sentiment score and appears to be losing popularity amongst viewers.

Helen finds herself close behind Molly and the Countryfile presenter could end up in the dance-off.

Molly and Carlo Gu will be hoping to impress with a Charleston while Helen and Gorka will perform a Couple’s Choice.

Fleur East survived the dance-off last week after being saved by the judges who sent Ellie Taylor home instead.

The pop star’s fans seemed to have rallied around her as she now tops the sentiment chart.

Will she be forced to dance for a second time on Friday or sail through to the semi-final?

Meanwhile, Will Mellor and Hamza Yassin are hot on her heels in the sentiment rankings.

Kym Marsh trails behind after being forced to miss last year’s live show following a positive Covid result.

Fleur and Vito Coppola will be dancing a Quickstep to I Got Rhythm from an American In Paris.

Meanwhile, Kym and Graziano Di Prima will be performing a Cha Cha to Fame from Fame and Hamza and Jowita Przystal will Sambaing to They Live In You from The Lion King.

Will and Nancy Xu will be hoping to impress with a Foxtrot to Sun And Moon from Miss Saigon.

Elsewhere, Kym is the odds-on favourite to be eliminated from Strictly this weekend.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have made the Coronation Street star just 4/11 to exit.

Fleur sits closely behind at 7/2 while Molly is in third position at 4/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters seem to think Kym’s time on the Strictly dancefloor will be coming to an end this weekend, with the former Corrie star our clear favourite for the boot.”

At the other end of the scale, Hamza leads the way for this year’s Glitterball Trophy.

He’s the favourite to win this year with odds of 4/11.

Countryfile’s Helen is the second favourite at 11/4 with Will following at 14/1.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One on Friday at 8pm.
