Strictlys Tony Adams and Katya Jones caught in heated chat after salsa slip ups

Strictly Come Dancing viewers are convinced they spotted Tony Adams and Katya Jones "having words" on Saturday night's show.

The former footballer made a few mistakes during his salsa and failed to win over the judges, ending up down at the bottom of the leaderboard.

While they were fine as they were getting their critiques, eagle-eyed viewers reckon Tony and Katya looked like they were arguing in the background as the BBC ballroom contest was ending.

They were deep in conversation as presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly were wrapping up.

Tony was gesturing with his hands and Katya was facing away from the camera as they had their talk – and some fans think it looked a bit heated.

Several people took to Twitter to see if others had spotted any tension.

"Was it just me or did anyone else see Katya and Tony having words at the end of the show," one fan asked.

Another posted: "Tony and Katya look like they where arguing at the end."

"Katya and Tony look so angry I'm howling," admitted one fan.

"Are Tony and Katya arguing in the back?" said another.

Someone else tweeted: "Was Katya having words with Tony then in the background? She did not look happy!!!"

However, other people said they thought it looked more like pro Katya was giving Tony a bit of a pep talk after his performance didn't go as well as he'd hoped.

"I'm not the biggest Katya stan but some of you are really reaching here," said one viewer.

"It was so clear (to me anyway) that at the end of the show it was Tony who was angry with himself and Katya was trying to comfort him. Katya definitely did not look 'furious' at all. If anything I'd say she was worried about Tony."
