'Terrorist' Max arrested for incitement to murder after stabbing in Corrie
It looks like his involvement in the right-wing gang that’s been terrorising Coronation Street recently could lead to jail time for Max Turner (Paddy Bever), as he faces serious charges after a series of horrifically violent incidents.
While Max isn’t the one who’s committing the violence, he admits to Gail (Helen Worth) and David (Jack P. Shepherd) after a series of violent stabbings has rocked the Street that the person involved was probably inspired by the propaganda videos that he’s been making for the fascist gang.
David orders Max to show them the videos he’s talking about, and he’s horrified at what he sees. Adam (Sam Robertson) and Sarah (Tina O’Brien) also watch the content that Max has been making and Adam informs them that the material on his computer is bad enough to land Max in prison for a long time.
He says he could be charged with Encouraging Terrorism, a serious offence that carries a 10 year jail sentence.
As David and Gail watch the videos with mounting disgust and horror, there’s a knock on the door. It seems that Adam’s dire warnings have come true as DS Swain tells them that Max is under arrest under suspicion of incitement to murder.
Could Max be heading for jail?
