The 1975 Tour – How to get tickets for UK concerts | The Sun

THE 1975 have announced their biggest ever UK headline show at London’s Finsbury Park this summer.

The band, led by frontman Matt Healy, will perform in the leafy North London suburb in front of 40,000 people on Sunday, July 2.

They'll be supported by American dream pop band Cigarettes After Sex, Grammy winning rock group Bleachers, and Brit indie singer Amber Mary Bain who goes by the name The Japanese House.

Tickets for Finsbury Park go on sale Friday at 10am, with a presale on Wednesday at 9am.

The 1975 have just wrapped the UK leg of their latest headline-grabbing tour, At Their Very Best.

The band, which formed in Cheshire in 2002, are no stranger to controversy, with singer Matty eating a raw steak on stage.

He also went viral for sucking a fan's thumb during one of The 1975's shows.

The singer is the son of actor Tim Healy, 71, and Loose Women panellist Denise Welch, 64.

The Sun revealed in December that he has been dating a Canadian model after his split from FKA Twigs.

It is early days as a pal said: “Matty and Charlotte have been quietly dating for a number of weeks and are head over heels for each other.

“They have been really subtle about being seen together, but backstage at his gigs, Charlotte is often there.

“Although they haven’t gone public yet, it is only a matter of time."

Matty split from FKA Twigs in June after the pair drifted apart.

Sources at the time insisted the split was amicable, blaming “work commitments.”
