The Bachelorette 2022: Who is Rachel Recchia? | The Sun

RACHEL Recchia is on season 19 of The Bachelorette where she hopes to find love.

Recchia is one of two bachelorettes in the 2022 season, with Gabby Windey appearing as a co-bachelorette. Both appeared on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor.

Who is Rachel Recchia?

Rachel Recchia is a 26-year-old commercial pilot and flight instructor from Orlando, Florida.

Recchia first joined Bachelor nation when she competed on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor in 2020 where she made it to the final three but did not receive the final rose.

She returned to The Bachelorette to find her own bliss, although it has not been without its difficult moments.

For the first time in Bachelorette history, two women were welcomed into the mansion with the men deciding which woman they wanted to fight for.

Recchia and Windey have remained close since their time on Echard's season and they told HollywoodLife that having a friend to go through the experience with has made it easier.

"Really, you felt less alone, you felt so supported. Knowing that somebody is going through the same thing is a feeling that nobody else can really give you," Windey told the outlet.

"It’s tumultuous and very emotional, so having that support system is just what you need," she added.

Who does Rachel pick in the season finale?

Rachel Recchia has made her final decision, according to Reality Steve, who said in a spoiler that she picked Tino Franco to be her future husband.

The pair hit it off on day one, with Franco receiving the first impression rose.

When she began the show, Recchia said she wasn't looking for a boyfriend, she was looking for a fiance, even if they didn't get married for several years.

It was this mindset that reportedly caused a rift between her and the runner-up, Peter Kraus.

In a lengthy and tearful discussion, Kraus told Recchia he does want to be with her, but he isn't ready to propose at the end of the show.

Recchia, who had spent five years in a relationship without a proposal told Kraus, “My fear is that, OK, you don’t propose and I agree to just date you and be committed to you. What guarantee do I have that it’s ever gonna leave that stage?”

She continued: “Because my past has shown me that it won’t. I’m in this because I want someone who wants what I want.

"I want someone who wants to move towards marriage. And my fear is you don’t have that same level of commitment."

Reality Steve confirmed Recchia says farewell to Kraus and says "yes" to Franco, but viewers will have to wait until The Final Rose episode to find out where Recchia and Franco's relationship stands.
