The Chase fans distracted by ‘hot’ star as they compare player to heartthrob

The Chase viewers compared a contestant from Friday evening's show (September 30) to hunky Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Motoring journalist Felix appeared on The Chase in order to win a chunk of cash, but it wasn't his quizzing skills that led to viewers chatting about him online.

Many viewers of the ITV gameshow were quick to comment on how Felix from London looked a lot like the American actor and Titanic heartthrob.

Taking to Twitter, one person penned: "Felix looks like a wannabe DiCaprio. #thechase."

While another echoed: "Felix looks like a Poundland Leonardo DiCaprio #TheChase."

"Felix looks a little like Leonardo di caprio #TheChase," affirmed a third.

And when it was his turn to take on the Chaser – The Beast – one viewer joked: "Up next …Félix Dicaprio #TheChase."

To which someone penned: "Looks like him round the eyes."

But the comparisons to the actor weren't the only tweets about Felix.

The contestant seemed to get fans hot under the collar too, with one writing: "Felix can fix me any day x #thechase."

In the show Felix did well and banked £6,000 in the cash builder round and took it all back home – with the Chaser lagging behind him.

Fans were then quick to praise the journalist for his quizzing skills – leaving the comparisons to Leonardo in the past.

"I liked Felix, happy chap. #TheChase," said one upon him getting through the round.

Another added: "Felix would make a good poker player #TheChase."

Felix made it to the final with one other player, Kimia, meaning the duo had to take on The Beast in order to win £13,000.
