THE Chase fans could not hold back their laughter as they noticed a hilarious link between the four players names.
The ITV quiz show welcomed four new players into the studio as they attempted to strike it lucky and win big money on today's show.
Bradley Walsh was on hand to greet the players as they faced off against the Dark Destroyer, Shaun Wallace.
But there appeared to be a rather interesting link between the contestants on the show.
All four of the players had 'beach' themed names.
The line-up consisted of Sandy, complete with an eye patch, Coral, Cliff and Shelley.

Host Bradley was quick to pick up on the connection as he welcomed Sandy up first to take on the Chaser.
As Sandy turned around to his teammates to discuss the offers on the table, Bradley was quick to jump in and interrupt.
He exclaimed: "Hang on!"
He then added in a shocked tone: "Shelley, Cliff, Coral, Sandy!"

Shaun then interjected, saying "I wondered when you were going to realise it."
Fans of the show at home also picked up on the occurance.
One fan wrote: "Producers on #TheChase had a field day here. Contestants named Sandy, Coral, Cliff and Shelley."
Another said: "Shelley, Cliff, Coral and Sandy. The Beach Boys?"
A third commented on the link: "Life's a beach!"
As a fourth wrote: Oh no! A name link."
The beach themed team succeeded as they secured a worthy £31,100 with all four members at the final chase.
However after a poor performance in the final round and scoring just 14 correctly, the team were caught with more than thirty seconds remaining.

Shaun commended the players and insisted it was a 'good game' before delivering his usual catchphrase: "It's just another day at the office."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1.
