The Chase fans swoon over hot blonde as they fume at Bradley Walsh age remark

The Chase fans were quick to swoon over one blonde bombshell when Wednesday evening's episode played out, leaving fans pointing out one player's "hotness".

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed Lynne, Ken, Dave, Hollie to the studio on Wednesday (March 22), with the foursome taking on Anne Hegerty in a bid to win some cash.

Taking to Twitter as the show began, one viewer asked: "How come no-one’s mentioned the hotness of Hollie?"

But then when Hollie's turn to take on Anne finally came about, fans were all saying the same things.

"I must admit if Hollie pitched up as my teacher I’d be pleased," penned one viewer when they found out that Hollie's profession was a teacher.

Another wrote: "Holly [sic] = olalaaa."

"I bet Ken tried to chat Hollie up before the show and was swiftly told to go away," joked a third.

While a fourth penned: "To be fair Hollie was a nice girl and didn't go low," after she was booted off the show.

And a fifth added: "That's a shame. I'd rather Hollie was in the final."

But some fans were annoyed at Bradley, who asked Hollie how old she was before she stepped up to the podium.

Asking Hollie what her age was, the beautiful player swiftly replied: "27".

Bradley then gushed that the show loves having younger players on the show.

But his inquisitiveness didn't sit right with some fans, and even led to a couple taking to Twitter to share their dismay.

One person wrote: "Patronising age ask."

While a second added: "How old am I? Bugger off grandad."

Hollie earned £3,000 in the cash builder but after going head-to-head with Anne, she was knocked out of the competition and missed out on the final.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
