The Chase viewers left open-mouthed as contestant makes HUGE blunder as new series returns | The Sun
THE Chase viewers were left open-mouthed after a contestant took a "risky" offer but was then given the boot.
Host Bradley Walsh, 61, welcomed four new hopefuls to the ITV game show in a bid to win a cash prize.
Players included Adam, 28, a train engineer from Liverpool, Bobbie, 72, NHS health advisor from Chelmsford, Nicola, 47, hypnotherapist, from Newport and Daniel, 34, a tiler from Durham.
First-up was Daniel, who managed to get six correct in his cash builder round but surprised fans when he went for the low offer of £1,000 and admitted he'd been "overly cautious".
Unfortunately, Nicola, who made £8,000 in the cash builder and Bobbie, who managed to answer six questions correct, were caught out by Chaser Paul 'Sinnerman' Sinha.
Adam was the last player to go head-to-head with Paul and told host Bradley that he was in the navy and was hoping to use the money to landscape his garden.

Adam managed to answer three questions correctly and admitted it "wasn't the best".
When it came to the Chaser's offer, Adam was given a low offer of £1,000 and a high offer of £59,000.
Without hesitation, Adam accepted Paul's offer of £59,000, leaving Bradley chuffed and his fellow contestant Daniel horrified.
Viewers were stunned that Adam risked his chance of getting a seat in the final round by taking the high offer.

Sadly, Adam was caught after getting two questions wrong, leaving Daniel was on his own in the final round.
Daniel managed to secure a respectable 13 steps but was caught with 46 seconds remaining, with one failed attempt to push back.
Bradley told the remaining contestant: "Sorry Daniel, done for by not having a full house. You on your own is tricky, tricky, tricky."
Paul chimed up and said: "It was a really good team, disappointing finish. Adam should have gone low, Daniel should have gone middle.
"The two in the middle made the right decision based on their ability.
"A mixture of bad luck and me playing well but Daniel you should be proud of how you've played."
