The Masked Dancer UK final 2022 LIVE: Fans convinced they've sussed out Onomatopoeia is Big Bang Theory star | The Sun

MASKED Dancer fans are convinced Onomatopoeia will be revealed as a huge star from US sitcom The Big Bang Theory in tonight’s final.

Viewers shared their theories on social media, with one fan tweeting: "#MaskedDancerUK Onomatopoeia someone from Big Bang Theory?"

A fellow fan supported this theory by adding: "I mean Bang is an onomatopoeia and Kunal Nayyar has been here quite a lot recently. He was even nominated for a BAFTA recently.”

The theory Kunal Nayyar, who played Raj Koothrappali on the CBS sitcom, could be Onomatopoeia was triggered by this viewer’s theory that “neigh” rhymes with “onomatopoeia”.

Another fan tweeted: "Onomatopoeia #MaskedDancerUK I was thinking someone from Big Bang Theory after the clues", while another chimed in: "Someone who was in big bang theory #MaskedDancerUK".

    After becoming the sixth character to become unmasked, it turns out Tomato Sauce was journalist Steph McGovern.

    Steph commented on her time on the show: "My show came off air at five past two, I would run, jump on the quarter past two train down and that's how I got here each time."

    Initial speculations by the judges included: Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden; Rochelle and Marvin Humes; and Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg.

    The duo were then revealed to be former footballer David Seaman and Dancing On Ice star Frankie Poultney.

    Joanna Page, 43, first rose to fame by playing Stacey on the BBC hit comedy Gavin & Stacey.

    Originally from Wales, she now lives in Berkshire with her husband, voiceover actor James Thornton, 45, and three children.

      Pig tried so hard to keep their identity secret on this year’s Masked Singer.

      Unfortunately, the judges chose to unmask them and had Jonathan Ross thinking it was Richard Hammond, while Davina McCall believed it was Olympian Jessica Ennis Hill.

      However, the Pig was Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna Page.

      Who was the Pig on Masked Dancer?

      Pig danced to Katrina And The Waves’ hit song Walking On Sunshine against Sea Slug but unfortunately lost the battle.

      Many thought the pig would be a television farmer, someone who owns pigs, but it turned out to be Joanna Page!

      The main clue it was Joanna, was the giveaway voice and Welsh accent.

      Joanna is very famous for starring in Gavin & Stacey, the hit 2000s series.

      Fans are now convinced that the Pearly King is the former Strictly Come Dancing judge.

      Last weekend it was noted that the giant lion’s accent slipped into what sounded Italian.

      There are also clues leading to him starring in Elton John’s I’m Still Standing music video of the 1980s.

        Fans are convinced Scissors is Heather Morris, who played Brittany S. Pierce in Glee.

        Clues given on The Masked Dancer include when Scissors claimed to have had more chart hits than music legend Elvis Presley, with fans pointing out the Glee cast did just that.

        Elsewhere, the sharp act used the phrase ‘New Directions’, the name of the glee club in the show, as well as referring to the ‘president’.

        Brittany was class president on the hit musical show, which aired on Channel 4 in the UK.

        Onomatopoeia has dropped several clues which have led fans to believe they are a Hollywood star.

        Viewers of the ITV competition are certain it’s an actor from 00s hit Coyote Ugly.

        Fans have been taking to Reddit to discuss the clues given as to the identity of the celebrity behind Onomatopoeia’s mask.

        One eagle-eyed viewer noted that there’s more than EIGHTEEN subtle hints that point towards actor and dancer Adam Garcia.

        “Onomatopoeia is Adam Garcia,” the Reddit user wrote. “Firstly, Onomatopoeia rhymes with Adam Garcia.”

        The Masked Dancer star Pearly King is a HUGE EastEnders star – or so says Lorraine’s Ria Hebden.

        Pearly King will perform in The Masked Dancer‘s grand final this weekend, alongside Scissors and Onomatopoeia.

        And former Dancing on Ice star Ria, 39, shared her thoughts on who could be behind the mask today – reeling off some telling clues.

        Explaining why she’s convinced it’s EastEnders star Danny Dyer, Ria told stand-in host Ranvir Singh: “The Pearly Kings and Queens are a famous symbol of cockney culture and Danny, of course, is a famous East Ender.

        “Did you ever watch Who Do You Think You Are? – Danny is a descendant of King Edward III. We’ve also seen the letters DD splattered around when he’s been performing… of course, Danny Dyer.”]
