The Masked Singer star rushes to support Otter as contestant falls on stage

The Masked Singer’s Mo Gilligan rushed to Otter’s aid after the mystery celebrity struggled to pick themselves back up off the floor after a stellar performance.
During Saturday’s instalment (January 14) of the hugely popular armchair detective show, viewers saw Knitting, Phoenix, Otter, Jellyfish and Cat and Mouse return to the stage to sing their hearts out for the nation.
This week, the ITV show launched their special time-travel inspired episode which saw the judging panel break out their wackiest costumes which all linked to statement fashion time period.
Out of all of the performances during the hour-long performance, it’s fair to say that Otter stole the show with their beautiful rendition of Reflection by Christina Aguilera from the Disney film Mulan.
However, their performance didn’t entirely go to plan, after the mystery celeb found themselves struggling to get back on their feet after giving a heart-wrenching performance in the elaborate oversized costume.
As Joel Dommett walked on stage to congratulate the celebrity on their impressive performance, Otter continued to squirm around on the floor as they struggled to get back to their feet.
Luckily, the stand-up comic was quick to run to their aid as he rushed on stage and helped the TV host pick the beloved singer back up.
After being met with roars of cheers from the audience as they were lifted back onto their feet, the cheeky comic handed the star their microphone pack back as the celeb swatted him away before taking a bow.
While the aquatic creature dusted themselves off, Mo returned to the judging panel where the judges shared their theories as to who it could be under the mask.
